Cheryl Duckworth

Cumbria’s largest commercial printers, H&H Reeds Printers, has appointed Cheryl Duckworth from Kendal, as Signs Administrator and Graphic Designer, expanding the workforce to meet the demands of the growing business.

The majority of Cheryl’s working career has been within the print industry, initially with Milnthorpe-based Cypher Digital Imaging and most recently as a self-employed Graphic Designer, working with clients across the length and breadth of the UK.

Cheryl’s new role will see her utilising her skills to work closely with both the signage and pre-press departments, with a large focus on administering the pre-press for the large format printing, such as vehicle wraps, internal and external signage, and exhibition stands, all of which are printed and produced at their Printworks in Penrith.

In taking up her new position Cheryl said: “I have joined H&H Reeds Printers at an exciting time for the business, and I am really looking forward to working with such a knowledgeable and experienced group of people. This is a challenging and diverse role for me and I am especially excited about meeting new customers and being part of a skilled and knowledgeable team.”

In her spare time, Cheryl can be seen running and cycling around the area, so no doubt she will fit right in at H&H Reeds Printers as many members of staff are budding runners and cyclists, recently highlighted in their 140th Reeds Relay celebrations when they undertook a 140-mile route around Cumbria in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Speaking on her appointment, Andy Jackson, Managing Director for H&H Reeds Printers, added: “We are delighted to welcome Cheryl as a valued addition to our dedicated team of staff. Her vast experience as a graphic designer will prove an asset to the premier service that we offer our customers.

The signage division is a huge part of the H&H Reeds business and we have seen exceptional growth this year. Cheryl’s appointment will certainly strengthen the company’s position in this highly-competitive industry.”

H&H Reeds Printers prides itself on innovation and are the leading print company for Cumbria, attracting worldwide contracts and known as one of the UK’s most environmentally friendly printing companies. Producing all types of print, from stationery to signage, H&H Reeds Printers continually strive to meet the needs of this ever-changing industry.
