Staff at Lamont Pridmore are celebrating after David Malin, Director of Financial Services at Lamont Pridmore Asset & Wealth Management wins big at this year’s Money Management Financial Planner Awards.
Money Management, a subsidiary of the Financial Times, named David as the winner of the Investment Companies category for 2018 at a glamorous black-tie event at OXO2 in London.
In awarding David with the prize, the judges took into consideration the depth of expertise he offers and the support provided by him to clients and the wider team at Lamont Pridmore.
In order to prove himself, David had to undergo a gruelling interview process, which was designed to highlight his knowledge of finance and the international financial planning standards set by the Financial Planning Standards Board. This included scenarios where he was expected to provide effective and sound financial advice on complex matters.
Speaking about his win at the award, David said: “I was completely shocked when they called my name and was blown away by the response I got.
“These awards are a highlight of the year for independent financial advisers such as myself, so it was nice to gain the recognition from my fellow peers and the industry as a whole.
