On the 3rd of Novemebr the members of the Belted Will Lodge are opening the masonic lodge to the public, letting you dispel the myth and see what they really do.

This will be a great opportunity to see what freemasonry does for the local community and to gain an understanding of what Freemasons really do. The Brethren of the Lodge will be on hand to answer questions, show visitors regalia, explain what they do in the community and to give you the opportunity to see the Temple .

Freemasonry is one of the oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. Its roots lie in the traditions and ceremonies of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles. Some rituals are still celebrated today and it still acts as a very good model for the modern society in the 21st century.

Freemasonry is proud to be an organisation where people from all walks of life are made welcome and meet as equal. Whatever their Faith, ethnic group or position in society.

If you’re interested in freemasonry, want to find out more and just generally want a look around a masonic lodge please feel free too come along.
