Police are investigating a dwelling burglary on Castle Hill Road in Penrith.
The burglary occurred on Saturday the 3rd November 2018 at some time between 11am and 8:40pm.
During the burglary a double glazed window was smashed to gain entry, which would have caused a loud noise.
Numerous large items of silverware and jewellery and were taken, which may have required a vehicle, or a large bag to move.
This jewellery that was stolen includes a distinctive ring with three big square purple stones, a platinum/gold necklace that has a light purple amethyst love heart with lattice work over the stone, several pairs of rose gold earrings shaped like a rose and two or three gold rings and buckle rings amongst a large amount of other jewellery.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the police on 101, quoting log number CP-20181103-0212.
