The free parking will be available all day on the following Saturdays during December 2018 – 8, 15 and 22 at the locations listed below:

  • Penrith car parks
  • Bluebell Lane
  • Drovers Lane
  • Mansion House

Eden District Council’s Services Portfolio Holder, Councillor Adrian Todd, said: “We are delighted to be supporting local businesses in the run up to Christmas by offering free parking in the Council’s off-street car parks during this busy period for shoppers and visitors. This free parking offer will be an extra incentive to encourage people to explore the excellent retail and food offer Eden’s towns afford at this time of year.”
