A woman has died following a road traffic collision in Brampton.
At 5:25pm on Thursday 20 December a collision occurred on Main Street at the pedestrian crossing near Union Lane.
The collision involved a blue Ford C-Max and a female pedestrian.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The pedestrian was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
“Her condition was described as stable at the time of the collision but she has since passed away on 29 December.
“The pedestrian, was a 72-year-old woman from the local area.
“The driver of the C-Max was a 68-year-old local man, he is assisting police with their enquiries.”
