Keswick Live Advent 2018 drew to a close on a Christmas Eve following 24 days of fun, food and festivities.

The final days were filled with a cheese and fruit cake tasting at The Cheese Deli, delicious fudge at Roly’s Fudge, last minute Christmas Shopping with Keswick TIC and finally an encore performance of The King & I at the Alhambra Cinema with all of the proceeds being donated to the Cumbria Community Foundation’s Winter Warmth appeal.

KTA Tourism Officer, Vanessa Metcalfe said: “It’s been another fantastic year for Keswick Live Advent with lots of people coming along to enjoy the pop-up events and see the windows lit. It really is a great way to encourage people to visit Keswick and support local businesses in the run up to Christmas. The windows also form a town trail and people have been following the trail throughout the festive period and voting for their favourite window.”

The Live Advent window town trail runs until 5th January and voting for your favourite window will close on 6th January with the winner being announced the following week. A downloadable pdf of the map can be found at visitkeswick.com/keswick-live-advent along with details of how to vote for your favourite window.
