A woman was rescued by firefighters after a road traffic collision occurred on Botchergate in Carlisle yesterday, Friday 22 February.
At 5:14pm four fire engines from Carlisle west, Carlisle east, Brampton and Longtown were mobilised to the collision.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found a road traffic collision involving one car and one bus.
“One casualty was extricated by fire service personnel using Holmatro cutting gear.
“Fire service remained at scene for approximately thirty five minutes.”
