Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of an Alfa Romeo registration CE62 NKK taken from Middlegate, Penrith on the 26th March. The car is believed to be in the Lanarkshire area of Scotland.
Police were called at approximately 8am on the 26th March to the report of false imprisonment and theft at an address in the area of Middlegate, Penrith.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Personal items including a phone, wallet, car keys and an Alfa Romeo were taken during the incident.
“A man in his 40s was uninjured during the incident.
“A 33-year-old man from Penrith was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and theft and remains in custody.”
