A Carlisle man has appeared from custody at the city magistrates court charged with assault causing actual bodily harm on March 25, also on the following day an allegation of sending by a public communications network an offensive indecent / obscene or menacing character message.
The court was told the allegations are that Daniel Scott Shaw, 21, of Merith Avenue, Carlisle, posted a naked photo of a female known to him on the internet site Snapchat.
The allegation of assault was on his former partner in her home, he is also accused of causing criminal damage to her mobile phone, he pleaded not-guilty to the three allegations.
Shaw did plead guilty to possession of class A drug cocaine on March 27, the justices remanded Shaw in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on April 29.
