
Six people have been arrested after tip-offs from the public about dangerous riding of off-road bikes in Barrow.
Furness Police said officers had arrested six males following information provided by members of the public, supported by CCTV enquiries.
The six were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance, and failing to wear a protective helmet.
They have since been released on bail pending further investigation.
Furness Police said: “We would like to thank the community for their assistance. Information from the public plays a vital role in helping us tackle anti-social and dangerous behaviour and making our communities safer.
