At 7:14am today, Monday 1 April, one fire engine from Penrith attended a vehicle fire on the A66 near Kemplay Bank Roundabout in Penrith.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used two Hose Reel Jets and two BA to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
