The A66 is closed in both directions between the A1150 (Sadberge) and the A135 (Stockton-on-Tees) due to a road traffic collision.

Diversion:

Eastbound from the A1150 at Little Burdon take the A66 westbound. At the second roundabout take the A67 eastbound. At the third roundabout take the first exit onto Mill Lane northbound to re-join the A66 at Long Newton.

Eastbound from the A66 at Morton Park roundabout turn right onto the A67 eastbound. At the third roundabout take the first exit onto Mill Lane northbound to re-join the A66 at Long Newton.

Westbound exit at Long Newton and take the second exit off the roundabout onto Mill Lane southbound. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto the A67 westbound to re-join the A66 at Morton Park.

Road users intending on using this section of road are advised to allow plenty of extra time for their journey and to consider alternative routes (if possible).
