Police are investigating a public order incident which occurred at around 2:15pm on the 27th of April 2019, on the A689, near to the roundabout with junctions towards Sandsfield Lane and Moorhouse Road.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 24-year-old man from Carlisle was subjected to a torrent of abuse after a man stopped his car and approached the man in his vehicle.
“The offender is described as a white male, aged in his late 50s, with an average build, and wearing a yellow cardigan and driving a blue VW Polo.
“Police are requesting for any witnesses who saw the incident or anyone who has dashcam footage to come forward.”
