Police are investigating a assault which occurred at the taxi rank next to the train station, on Bush Brow, at around 3:30am on the 21st of April 2019.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 59-year-old man from Carlisle and a 22-year-old man from Northampton were assaulted during the incident.
“A 25-year-old man from Manchester and a 22-year-old man from Northampton were arrested on suspicion of assault, causing actual bodily harm, they have both been released under investigation.
“Police are asking for any witnesses to the incident to make themselves known, especially any motorists or taxi drivers which were in the area at the time, who may have dashcam footage.”
