Police are investigating an attempted burglary on the Story Homes site, on Edgehill Park, Kells, Whitehaven at approximately 6.45pm on Tuesday 7th May.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Four youths entered the secure site and attempted to break into a Portacabin on the site.
“Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and ask local residents be vigilant for intruders on the building site.”
