Charity donations to the recipients of this year’s Mayoral Charity Fund were handed over on Monday 29 April at the Civic Centre.
The charities to benefit were:
- Age UK Carlisle & Eden £4,800
(Charity nominated at start of Mayoral Year)
- NSPCC Carlisle £4,800
(Charity nominated at start of Mayoral Year)
- British Heart Foundation £4,200
(Charity nominated at start of Mayoral Year)
- Heart Centre Charity Fund £4,051.50
- Cumbria Army Cadet Force £200
- Carlisle Reivers Blacks Under 9’s £200
Total £18,251.50
