The Civic Centre’s Council Chamber will host the 2019 Mayor Making Ceremony on Monday 20 May.
Carlisle City Council’s Full Council will vote on which Councillor they would like to see as Carlisle’s new Civic ambassador, with the chosen candidate sworn in as Mayor and then subscribing to the Ancient Mayoral Oaths of the City.
The Annual Council meeting will also include the appointment of the Leader of the Council.
