One fire engine from Whitehaven was mobilised to reports of a fire in the open near Wastwater Road, Whitehaven.
Fire crews were called at 9:21pm on Friday 31 May.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found a derelict shed well alight and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
