Clothing stolen in Bowness ram raid

Police are investigating a burglary which took place at the Pitlochry in Lakeland store on Glebe Road, Bowness On Windermere in the early hours of Saturday the 22nd of June 2019.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “It is believed that at approximately 3am a vehicle was intentionally driven into the front of the premises causing extensive damage, before items of clothing were stolen from within.

“Goods (clothing) to value of £300 were stolen.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Cumbria Police by telephoning 101, quoting log number 64 of the 22nd of June.
