Police are investigating a sexual assault that has occurred on Saturday 22nd June at approximately 5pm.
The incident has occurred at Heysham Park, specifically on the playground itself.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The incident involved a boy and a girl. The boy was with a group boys at the time.”
