A CYCLIST was hurt after his bike and a vehicle were in collision in Carlisle city centre this afternoon.
Police were called to a report of a road traffic collision in the area of Lowther Street.
Part of the road was temporarily closed and a cordon was put in place as officers carried out an investigation in the wake of the incident.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The incident involved a Citroen Berlingo and a bike.
“The driver of the Citroen, a man from Carlisle was uninjured.
“The rider of the bike, a 36-year-old man from Carlisle suffered minor injuries.”
