The Lakes Medical Practice, Penrith have been nominated for the General Practice Awards, People’s Choice Award: Surgery of the year 2019.
The General Practice Awards are an annual event celebrating the work of primary care teams across the UK.
The Lakes Medical is a five-partner practice and has over 10’000 registered patients from the Eden locality.
Operations Lead, Sam Gargett said: “This is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of both the clinical and non-clinical teams at the practice who always try to ensure that patient care is the heart of everything they do, so it is lovely for the practice to be recognised in this way.”
The public vote opened on 1st July, and closes on 16th August.
