Genesis Homes have announced that they have submitted planning for a 28-home scheme at Hackthorpe, near Penrith. The application is a variation to the previously consented scheme to incorporate Genesis’ house type range.
The new development will incorporate a mix of 3, 4 & 5-bed houses and 2 & 3-bed bungalows as well as an element of affordable 3-bed houses. The site benefits from lovely views towards the Pennines, whilst also offering easy access to the Lake District National Park. Hackthorpe itself is an attractive village located on the A6 just south of Lowther and four miles from the market town of Penrith.
