The Lake District Dragons raise over £1,100 for Keswick School

On Sunday 7th July, 17 eager employees from Lake District Hotels Ltd, took to the waters of Lake Windermere to participate in the 2019 Dragon Bay Regatta!

The regatta is an annual charity event hosted by CBA Events, which allows local companies to go head-to-head in a dragon boat race to raise money for their charity of choice. 15 teams entered the boat race to participate in two qualifying races with the aim to reach the final.

Lake District Hotels Ltd, made it into the top 6 fastest teams and bagged 5th place of the day, whilst raising an impress £1,175 for their charity of the year, Keswick School.

Dani Hope, Marketing Director commented, “I’m so proud of our team, the spirit was high between us, it was a great way for us to raise money whilst participating in a fabulous team building activity! It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed the day’s events and we’re already looking forward to next year.”
