Workington’s next Family Fun Day is set to take place in Moss Bay on Saturday 10 August from 1 – 4pm.

The event has an exciting new addition to the programme: a free archery range. The archery range will be supervised by a professional workshop leader who will provide free instruction to all participants.

The event will be located in a marquee near Jane Pit in Moss Bay, Workington. In addition to the archery, activities will include face painting, football skills, storytelling and superhero themed craft activities. The first 100 children to arrive at the event will receive either free hot food or an ice cream.

All activities are free of charge and admission to the event is on a first come first served basis, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The event is organised by Workington Town Council in partnership with local charity South Workington Youth Partnership. The last Family Fun Day of the summer holidays will be in Vulcan Park on Saturday 24 August from 1pm – 4pm.
