Police are investigating a sexual assault on a teenage girl in Carlisle city centre.
It occurred at about 3pm today (August 13) in English Street.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police received a number of reports that a man was acting inappropriately around the English Street area.
“A man, 33, from Carlisle, was quickly arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.”
Police are asking for anybody with any information to contact PC 2551 Smith on 101.
