This new release has five new tracks and 3 fan favourites. No Thrills see this as an interim release, with plans to record another full album for 2020.
No Thrills hail from Penrith and Carlisle, Cumbria, after more than 20 years rising up the ranks within the massive UK punk scene, the band have enjoyed success in recent years with 2019 seeing their 6th consecutive appearance at the Rebellion punk festival at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool on Thursday 1st August 2019.
Arguably the biggest punk gathering in the world, this will be the official launch pad for the new mini album “Punk Rock Or Else”. the band play at Rebellion on Thursday 1st August on the Arena Stage at 7:25 pm.
Punk Rock Or Else, was recorded very much a DIY approach, utilising the skills of engineer/producer Richard Allen,
No Thrills tracked the album at The Venue, Carlisle, before post-production and mixing was completed at the band’s drummer Steve ‘Haz’ Harrison’s house. In the emphatic ‘No Thrills’ style of high-octane, tour-de-force, wall of punk rock grit, the mini album tells tails of tragedy, their pride in being Cumbrian, murdering night-time visitors, protesting against the ‘Penrith Pong’, relationship wars, AWOL fans, not wanting to be posers, and their fan anthem “Punk Rock Til’ I Die”.
The album is the third licenced release on USA Philadelphia based punk label Violated Records, it will also be available via the Violated Records website and can be purchased directly from the band at gigs or via mail order using PayPal. Full contact details below:
