John McCormick

John McCormick, has joined family-owned Carlisle Audi as Head of Business and there couldn’t be a more perfect match, as John has passed his love of all things automotive onto his family, with three of them working in the motor sector.

A delighted John explained: “I’ve now worked in the motor trade for 40 years, starting as trainee salesman and working my way up through many different roles; I’ve worked with loads of different brands from Aston Martin to Vauxhall and now Audi.

“As a family orientated person, Swansway Motor Group could have been made for me. A family-owned and run business is right up my street. Both of my sons work in the motor trade, as does my nephew, in fact the only one who’s escaped is my daughter.”

The family-owned group prides itself on its caring, honest and proud values and it’s multi-award winning in the motor sector with the latest win being named as the Motor Trader Dealer Group of the Year for 2019.

John continued, “I’m looking forward to being part of a family at Swansway and hoping it won’t be long before the team and I will be collecting awards of our own.”

In his spare time John can’t be separated from motorcycles, which have been his passion since his teenage years; he now he restores 1970’s classic motorcycles as a hobby.
