Man arrested after cars damaged in Kendal

Police are investigating an incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning on Saturday 28th September during which a number of vehicles were broken into or damaged whilst parked on the rooftop car park of South Lakeland House in Kendal.

The incident involved criminal damage to :

  • Citan 109
  • Peugeot 207
  • Renault Megane
  • BMW 430I
  • Volkswagen Caddy
  • Landrover Discovery
  • Mini

Theft from a:

  • Fiat 500 – entry forced and a items taken.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 21-year-old man from Kendal was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and released under investigation.

“Officers are appealing for anyone in the area at the time who might have witnessed the incident.”
