Man threatened with knife in Carlisle attempted robbery

Detectives are investigating an incident which occurred in the area between Cecil Street and South Henry Street, Carlisle at around 7pm on 4th October 2019.

A man has been approached by two persons, believed to be male, who have made demands for his personal possessions whilst brandishing a knife.

No one was injured.

It is believed that one of the suspects was wearing a black Puffa style jacket and black jogging bottoms and the other, an olive green waterproof jacket with black ripped jeans.
