Carlisle’s Lanes evacuated

Fire crews are in attendance following the evacuation this afternoon of The Lanes shopping centre in Carlisle.

A tannoy announcement has been sounding which asks people to leave the complex “immediately”.

The car park is also closed off to vehicles.
