Four fire engines have attended a vehicle on fire on the M6 northbound between J41-J42.
Fire crews were called at 10:43am on Wednesday 23 October.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found a private vehicle well alight and extinguished the fire using one breathing apparatus, one hose reel and small tools.
“Firefighters remained on scene for approximately forty five minutes.”
