Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire brings extra sparkle to Christmas commute

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire has launched its Christmas bus to help add some festive fun to passengers’ journeys.

The bus was designed and built after the people of Cumbria voted to say they wanted to see more themed buses in the region to help add colour to bus journeys.  The survey, run by Censuswide, spoke to over 1,500 people in the region.

To create festive fun, the bus has been decorated with tinsel, stockings, candy canes, faux snow and plenty of Santa goodies! It is hoped the festive bus will encourage passengers to make the most of the Christmas season and also help passengers reduce their carbon footprint by choosing to leave their car at home.

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire managing director, Mark Whitelocks, said; “The results of the survey showed our passengers wanted to see themed buses in the region, so we couldn’t wait to get to work on our Christmas bus. Sitcom Soldiers helped us to develop it and we were delighted with the final result – it’s great to hear positive feedback from people across Cumbria too!
