Two fire engines were called to tackle a domestic building fire on Muncaster Close, Whitehaven.
Fire crews were called at 8:34pm on Monday 23 December.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used two breathing apparatus, one thermal imaging camera and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“One casualty was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service.
“Crews were in attendance approximately two hours.”
