The A7 Longtown Bridge is closed to vehicles and pedestrians after a wall was damaged in a road traffic collision this morning.
Police were called at 5:55am.
The A7 is closed between the A6071 to the Esso Garage.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
