A road will be closed for two weeks for bridge repairs.
Work will start on Warwick Church Bridge on the C1027, which runs between Warwick Bridge and Great Corby, on Monday, July 20.
Cumberland Council said the work will improve the bridge’s condition.
The work will be carried out under a formal road closure, with a signed diversion route in place.
The road will be closed daily between 8.30am and 3.30pm and will reopen outside of these hours.
Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
For residents and those requiring access, Cumberland Council said it would endeavour to accommodate needs where possible, and anyone with special access requirements is encouraged to get in touch with the authority.
