Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision yesterday (20 January) at Lanercost.
The collision occurred at around 5.40pm and involved a pedestrian and a Citroen Picasso car driven by a woman in her 50s.
The pedestrian was a man in his 60s who was declared deceased at the scene.
Officers are investigating the collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it to contact police referencing incident 180 of 20 January 2020.
