An exciting Charity of the Year partnership between Eden Valley Hospice and Enesco has raised over £1,600 for the local charity.

During 2019, staff from the Carlisle based company have organised a range of fundraising events in aid of the hospice. The kindness and generosity of everybody involved with the partnership helped to raise £1,602. The money will help Eden Valley Hospice to provide the highest standards of care, support, and activities to local people with life limiting illnesses.

Claire Binnie, HR Director said: “Eden Valley Hospice was chosen by our staff as the charity to support for 2019, it’s close to many of our hearts. The Enesco team have embraced the fund-raising activities, such as the Colour Run, Bingo Mania and much more.  The team at Eden Valley Hospice do an amazing job and we are so pleased to have been able to give something back to the such a worthy local charity.”

During the partnership Enesco have provided Eden Valley Hospice with much more than financial support. Members of staff have refreshed a decorative tree and helped to sell raffle tickets providing people with the opportunity to win a new car.

Natalie Bingham Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator at Eden Valley Hospice said “We have received wonderful support from the team at Enesco during 2019, from volunteering to fundraising, and it’s a real credit to everybody who works there. It has been an absolute pleasure working with them and we really can’t thank them enough for their incredible support of the hospice over the past 12 months.”

Eden Valley Hospice provides the highest standards of care, support and activities to local people with life limiting illnesses. This care and compassion is extended to the patients family, friends and carers.
