A Penrith man was arrested after a police vehicle on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle on the 28th January at 2:30pm.
A short pursuit had just commenced before the motorcycle collided with a Ford Fiesta on Norfolk Road, Penrith.
The road was closed while police dealt with the scene.
The rider of the bike, a 25-year-old man from Penrith suffered minor injuries and was taken to Penrith hospital.
The driver for the Ford was uninjured.
A 25-year-old man from Penrith was arrested on suspicion of:
- Drug driving
- Driving without insurance
- Driving whilst disqualified
- Driving in a public place without due car and attention
He has been released under investigation.
