The family of a motorcyclist who died following a collision on the A596 between Crosby and Crosby Villa on Friday 27 March have paid tribute to a “devoted and caring dad”.
Steven Morrey, 59, died at the scene as a result of his injuries after his motorbike was in collision with a lorry.
Steven’s family have released the following:
Steve was born in Barnsley, worked in Hartlepool and retired to Cumbria to enjoy the outdoor life he loved.
He was the soul mate and much-loved husband of Jan, and a devoted and caring dad to Adam and Sam.
He will be missed terribly.
The family have asked for privacy at this time.
Officers investigating the collision continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
