A woman has been charged in connection with the murder of a little girl from Bolton.
Eltiona Skana (24/2/90) formerly of Turnstone Road, Bolton has been charged with the murder of 7-year-old Emily Jones.
She is also charged with possession of a bladed article.
She has been remanded in custody to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26 May 2020.
On the afternoon of Sunday 22 March 2020, police were called to Queen’s Park in Bolton following reports that a child had been stabbed.
Emergency services attended but sadly despite the best efforts of Emily’s family and medical responders, she passed away a short time later.
