
THREE West Cumbria men are due to be sentenced next month for roles in plotting to supply illegal class A drugs.
Nathan Dixon, 22, Aaron Mitchell Telford, 20, and 24-year-old Dylan John Rickerby all appeared in front of a judge at Carlisle Crown Court this morning (TUES).
During a previous hearing, Dixon, of High Road, Thornhill, Egremont, and Telford, of Lincoln Road, Hensingham admitted conspiracy to supply both class A drug ecstasy and class B substance ketamine between April 5 and July 6, 2018.
Telford, of Lincoln Road, Hensingham, Whitehaven, also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply a quantity of class A cocaine, and further admits cannabis possession.
During today’s hearing, Rickerby, of Grasmere Avenue, Workington, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, between May 10 and July 6 of 2018.
Both Telford and Rickerby have submitted a formal basis for their admissions which is accepted by the prosecution, the court heard.
The case was adjourned by Judge Nicholas Barker to July 2, when the trio are set to be punished for their respective crimes.
“These are serious matters, as well you understand,” the judge said to the men as they all stood in the court dock. “There are (background) reports prepared and they will be considered by the court, likely to be me, and I will consider sentence on that date.”
In the meantime, Telford, Dixon and Rickerby were granted bail by Judge Barker.
