Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of affray and threats to kill relating to an incident that occurred between 10am-12pm on Wednesday 1st July at Barrow Cemetery.
Police are also asking that residents between Barrow Cemetery and Victoria Avenue check their gardens today for any item that may be used as a weapon that had been discarded. Should any such items be found, please contact the police.
Police are appealing for members of the public who may have witnessed this incident which involved a man and a woman within the cemetery to call police on 101.
