POLICE are investigating two incidents of burglary at addresses in the area of Inglewood Road to Inglewood Crescent in the early hours of Sunday morning (9 August) that occurred at around 1.15am.
The suspect has gained access to the garage and shed of a property, where several items have been taken. A further property was broken into and belongings were attempted to be taken.
Suspected stolen property was recovered and returned to the owners. Two sets of keys have been seized as part of the ongoing investigation and officers are looking to recover another set.
A 30-year-old man from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a controlled drug. He has been released under investigation.
