Cumbrian based Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ training provider Gen2, has welcomed their new General Manager, Amanda Towers, following the retirement of Paul Storey.
Amanda will head up the organisation and joins Gen 2 from a busy 20 year career with Cumbria County Council, more latterly as Senior Manager for Learning and Skills. Having started her career at Sellafield, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
Amanda said: “I am delighted to be appointed as Gen2’s new General Manager and excited to take this next step in my career.
“Joining the City & Guilds Group, as General Manager for Gen2 provides a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference through skills for people, employers and the community.
“Gen2 is an amazing organisation who are committed to delivering high quality apprenticeship, degrees and short courses to meet business needs. I look forward to the future and helping to deliver the solutions that allow our customers to thrive and succeed in Cumbria and beyond.”
