POLICE are investigating an assault that occurred in the vicinity of Grasmere Avenue. The incident occurred on the 10 August at 3:30pm.
A 19-year-old woman was punched from behind and again once on the floor. She suffered facial and hip injuries.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, around 6ft 5ins tall, of slim build, with thin light brown hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and grey joggers at the time of incident.”
