Police are investigating an incident of assault that took place at approximately 3pm on Saturday 22nd August, on St John’s Street, Keswick.
A man in his 20’s from Keswick was allegedly assaulted by a man in his late 30’s to early 40’s, stocky build, 6’02” in height, with medium length black hair, wearing walking boots, shorts and a long sleeved grey top. He was carrying an orange backpack and wearing a blue face covering. He was with a woman of similar age with blonde hair and glass.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The victim sustained a scratch to his neck and a cut to the inside of his mouth during the incident.”
