A MAN who yelled at bystanders and customers outside a Penrith pub while drunk has been sentenced by magistrates.
Kevin David Fisher, 26, had been staying in a room at the Castlegate Arms, Castlegate, with a female when the incident occurred at around 10-15pm on August 12.
While intoxicated, Fisher shouted at members of the public and other pub patrons outside the premises before being arrested by police.
Fisher was not present due to personal issues when his case was heard North and West Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Carlisle this morning (THURS).
However, he pleaded guilty by letter and was sentenced in his absence.
Fisher, of Fox Lane, Leyland, Lancashire, was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs and a mandatory victim surcharge.
