Police are investigating a fail-to-stop collision that occurred at around 10:10pm on 23 September on Leece Lane in Barrow.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A Hyundai Tucson was in collision with a garden wall and then drove off.
“Officers believe the vehicle will have substantial offside damage to the front wing.”
